Does anyone know whether the wrestling throw commonly called double leg with lift (onto one shoulder) is now correctly called a version of sukui nage in judo terminology? Also does anyone know anything about an old-style kata guruma in which uke was lifted onto one shoulder with legs forward and head facing tori's rear?

The double leg lift is morte gari; suki nage is executed facing the same direction as uke.

I have heard of that old-style version of kata guruma. I have never practiced or used it. Sadly, under the recent IJF rules all of these throws and slew of others are banned because they involve touching the leg(s). At any rate, I suspect that that old-style version of kata guruma may have been banned many years ago -- perhaps under a rule that prohibits tori falling over backward with uke on tori's back. I don't have the rule book at hand just now.
