The Vancouver Open Judo Tournament was held on Feb 4, in the Richmond Olympic Oval. There's often some GREAT natural light coming in. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but still some of the best light I have had while shooting Judo.

Not all the shots could make it to the final edit, but I realized that I had a lot of "spray" sequences... They made for a fun video: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=6vI7Z9yLqeI

Thanks DragonSpeed, I was at the tournament as well. Such a sunny day in Vancouver, but the locale had this persistant fog layer.

For competitors that don't have Blue Judogi then they wear the red sash to differentiate from the one NOT wearing it :)

Yes, I'll be at Steveston.

Brazillian team and a team from Tokai! Should be some big throws for shooting! :)
