As the end of the year is nearing I am wondering if the illustrious duo of Jon Z. and NBK have made any good intentions concerning the shobu no kata of mr. Uchida and their anxiously awaited translation of said kata?

If so I would be thrilled to find out what these good intentions exactly are. If not it would be a very bad start of 2011 indeed.

Happy landings.

"Holy macaroni CK, NBK's kata calls are close to perfect. If more people practiced them, someday we might have a chance for real communication with our Japanese friends."

Nice reminder, Johan. Not that I had forgotten....

I will be traveling a lot this new year. That might be a good plane ride project to start.

Happy New Year,

Actually, before I got into this, I meant to post the detailed translations of the current kata instruction manuals. I hope to get to that in Jan 2011.

The link will be someplace on www.nihonjujutsu.com or here, still have to sort out which versions I'll use.
