Can anyone offer suggestions for a beginner looking to start judo in the central NJ area? I am asking on behalf of a friend. I have consulted the judoinfo database and the nascent Judo World Map project, but if anyone on the forum has any first-hand knowledge of the clubs in the area, I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks!

As a former Central NJ resident, my first choice would be Cranford JKC, second choice Camal Judo or Judo Tech.
I have heard good things about Princeton Judo as well.
