Norwich Judo Dojo presents a Muay Thai clinic wit Master Charlie McShane

Whether you do freestyle wrestling, tai chi, boxing, Greco Roman, judo, jujitsu, shotokan, aikido or any martial art, this is a tremendous opportunity to train with one of Connecticut's foremost Muay Thai instructors! Come and experience Charlie’s unique approach to the national sport of Thailand.

Where: Norwich Judo Dojo, 204 Sturtevant St., Norwich, Ct. 06360
When: March 27, 2010 1:00 p.m To 4:00 p.m.
Open to: all interested martial artists and athletes, ages 15 & up regardless of their main discipline (parent permission required for those under 18)
Clinic fee: $25 per person
Recommended equipment: Boxing gloves & wrist wraps (if you have them) & water bottle.


Charlie McShane has been a full-time martial arts instructor for 13 years. Besides earning Muay Thai instructor status under Master Hung Tran, he's also a certified FIGHT Israeli Martial Arts instructor, BJJ purple belt under Royce Gracie, Judo green belt under Bill Montgomery and Joan Love, and 4th Degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. He is the Master Instructor at America's Best Defense in Norwich, CT.

This clinic will cover the basics of Muay Thai kickboxing. You'll learn the best techniques of "The Art of 8 Limbs" including elbows, knees, kicks, and punches. You'll learn why Muay Thai is considered the most devastating and respected striking art.
