Am I missing something on the world wide web regarding USA Judo official merchandise? I found some rinky-dink website that had like 12 things that had USA Judo on it(Like pants and a jacket  )

Why does the USA Judo website not have a store on it, to sell official USA Judo items? I got a sticker when I became a member in the mail awhile back, and I dont even get those or can find them anywhere. Would love to have more for other cars, etc. Am I missing a site? Or are they not interested in making money through merchandise?

Do we get a discount until they produce a bunch of gold medalists?

I'm confused. I have never received a sticker from USA Judo, & I had to print out a paper "card" online . . . . .

I have a USA Judo sticker floating around in a drawer here someplace... I got it after paying several hundred dollars to compete in 3 kata divisions plus Master's shiai at US Nationals. :sad(

The only thing I'm confused about is why some one would want to advertise their affiliation with USA Judo. <_<

I got it in 2008 I think. After signing up online for my USA Judo membership, they sent me a nice little card and a sticker. Then I signed my son up a year later and got no sticker, but a card.

The same reason someone wears a Detroit Lions sweatshirt or a Kansas City Royals hat. Got to support them even when their not the champs. :glass)

I admire the sentiment in your statement, and I always support the USA Judo athletes. You gotta hand it to those guys/girls. I saw a thread here a while back that said something like, " A wrestler thought he wasn't getting any support until he saw what the judo guys got."

To place my original comment into context, consider the following: Would you still be as enthusiastic in your support of the Detroit Lions if they "forgot" to put grandstands in the stadium they built with the money you gave them, instead opting only for luxury boxes for the owners' exclusive use?

After I sent my reply, I got to thinking that I probably took the context wrong, and I see I did

I would like USA Judo merchandise to support the US Judo athletes that represent us in all of Judo, but the organization as an organization aside from athletes, definately was not my purpose for wanting USA Judo merch. So yes, I concur with your point.
