Here's a bit of background. Apparently, a few years back, somebody tried to clean the blue tatami with armour-all. This is positively a bad idea for judo, but a good idea for the Penguin Slide. During a brief lull, competitors started wondering about the slickness of these periphery tatami. The next thing you know, we're sliding across the mats. Being competitors, an impromptu competition started. This was not about style, this was about distance, and the winners of the first annual penguin slide are:

Seniors:

1. Caitlin McAllister, SRJC
2. Amy Stevens, SRJC
3. Ann Behrends, Tohkon

Juniors:

1. Sasha Artis, Marion Youth Judo
2. Chery Hendye, Hamanet Judo
3. Amanda Buell, Buells Family Judo

It looks like we need to get ready for next year's competition soon. Southside is already doing tryouts!

Yeah, she's out running around. Passed out the day after I got back - all that attention, all those different smells, she was on cloud nine.

all is going well, though my arm pits are not very happy.

will pass your "eh" on to Andi. :big grin:
